Have you been feeling increased anxiety or worry about different events or activities, unexpected bouts of panic, racing thoughts, excessive crying, irritability, anger, frequent depressed mood, or feelings of guilt or inadequacy? If so, this group might be for you! As many as 20 percent of women experience clinical levels of depression or anxiety over the transition to parenthood, with many more experiencing more mild symptoms of either depression or anxiety. Let us support you in beginning to feel more like yourself using tools from both cognitive behaviour therapy and mindfulness!
This six session group will run Fridays from 11:00-12:30pm from Nov 15 through Dec 20. The group is offered for $40 for all six sessions. There will be a maximum of 8 participants.
Babies a year and under are welcome.
